Hi! My name is JM Ayala [online I go by the pseudonym, Mr. Creeper]. My co-founder, Kenny [EmptyApartment], and I were challenged with taking our passion for gaming and doing something constructive with it. After careful deliberation [read: 30 minutes], we came to the conclusion that starting a website would be a great idea. Oddly enough, we were approached by Don Darko soon after, who offered to fund our project. Empty Apartment launched on September 5th, 2011.

Our plans are to bring you content in our own words and style, from the view of an everyday gamer, just like you. We do reviews and previews of newly released and backlogged games, share our opinions on news and announcements, live stream Empty’s gaming antics [almost] daily and quite a bit more. As we neared our one-year anniversary, we looked back at what we had put together. A decision was made to focus in on our strong suits: live streaming and our community.

So, here we are. A redesigned site, a more focused Crew and a small following of awesome viewers. You see, we’re not looking to grow a HUGE fanbase or to make any money, whatsoever, off this venture. We’d be happy doing our content and only having a hand-full of you guys frequenting the site. We’re doing this because…well…Hell, because we love gaming!
